We are renovating our recently purchased home before we move in and getting quotes together for the bank valuer to top up mortgage.
To avail of the Home Incentive Scheme, we can only claim for kitchen if builder provides/installs. Can we still choose our kitchen let's say from Ikea or cash and carry kitchen and they then purchase and install? Or where do builders usually get their kitchens from? Get a local carpenter?
We are on a tight budget and wondering best way to go about it.

HRI is only up to 30k...
Maybe your builders work outside of kitchen will come to this?

Aside from that: Only your builder can answer.

Yes. You tell the builder you want kitchen X from supplier Y with details Z.

It can be done by including in in the specification or by using a nominated supplier (if it is supply and fit it would be a nominated subcontractor).
