Hey lads. So I'm getting a new job in a few weeks and as they provide a company van I'll probably need to sell my beloved car. Its a 2006 black Saab 93 aero. 2.0 petrol turbo blasting out 210hp. Bodywork is in great condition, got James over at mx valeting to go over it. 4 new tyres, tax until the end of September, recently serviced, 4 new iridium plugs and coil packs. Front track rod ends and rear anti roll bar bushes changed so not a squeak out of it. Air con recently serviced and blowing ice cold air. Car drives like a dream and is ridiculously fast. Just curious to see what it's worth. Not many Aeros on the road. Here's a photo of her..

Not very much at all. Id say a grand tops. If you had a shed it would be a nice machine to keep for vintage in 15 years time

Yeah, I was thinking around a grand. Chance your arm asking €1500 and take anything over €1k.

Shame, it's a really nice car and well looked after too by the look of it, there just isn't much of a market for this type of thing anymore no matter how good of an example it is.

I reckon €1000 would be about right.

Sweet looking motor, sadly she will be worth much more to you than you will get for her, I'd be thinking a grand too, perhaps price at €1250 and hope for a grand. Current market with the chappe tax hunters and insurance issues for older cars leaves a limited market. That said if someone is looking for one she would be a bargain at €1000.

Nice car but concur with the other statements of about 1k value and even then you might just have to wait a few weeks for the buyer to appear.

I'm in much the same boat myself I have a 2006 e60 523i msport but with tan Brown leather which is a bit unusual 200k kms on it, would mine be worth anymore than this saab?
I really like it but do fancy changing for something new....maybe early 640d.
    Would I get 2k for an 06 e60 msport??

Unless someone is looking for them it's prob a grand as said. Possibly throwing a few months tax on to it would help the sale but whether you'd get the cost back I dunno

Not vintage for another 18 years

But yeah, I agree with your post. It's an awful pity the OP will have to let go his very well maintained pride & joy for so little money

I sold my saab 93 estate 2008 recently and got just over a grand for it. 96k miles on it - zero hassle car, so yeah - you would probably get about a grand for yours unfortunately

The emotional value was way above it but market price unfortunately is what it is - plus the misconception that parts are hard to get doesnt make it an easy sell - unless you are a saab enthusiast

    Good luck OP
