going back to school/job

I plan to do my postgraduate studies in September, part time in the evening but I might have trouble getting time off for it at work. I don't think my work is very accommodating (I work in retail). I really want to continue my education and so I might have to quit my job. I can see I might be disqualified for 9 weeks from jobseeker allowance but will I get it after those 9 weeks?

I am trying to find a better job but so far no luck. I have supportive partner and couple of thousand set aside for rainy days. The cost of college is also not an issue, however without any income, and no state benefit, I would have to stay at my current job and forget about college.

I do have a bachelor of business degree from LIT, but I do feel like to be able to use it, I need to advance my education.
