Lads is it any good mole ploughing at the moment. I'm doing a bit there now, and I've seen funny feeling the moles are closing in. Any advice would be great

How deep are you going? Only way to know for sure is to dig a small trail hole. Its amazing the moisture you could meet when you dig down to the subsoil.

You should have an idea when the mole comes up.

Ideally it should bring up marginally damp soil that will hold the mole shape.

If it’s really dry all the way down it’s unlikely to hold shape, that said, I think it would still be somewhat of a good job.

I think now is prime time to do it. You should get a really good shatter effect from the mole

That seems to be the problem the moles seems to be closing in after its opened its muddy ground so it's like concrete atm but when rain come it'll just go back to normal

But that'll take time and maybe the flow of water will leave the channel open
