    If we have Male, Female, Trans and Gender Neutral role models, may as well have one for the gender fluids.

    My understanding is that a transvestite is a man who enjoys dressing up as a woman, while someone who is gender fluid identifies sometimes as one and sometimes the other, but might not necessarily dress to reflect that.

    A transvestite (essentially Latin for cross-dresser) is just someone who might be completely happy with their gender, and has no desire to change sex, but simply likes wearing clothes or make-up traditionally worn by the opposite sex. Eddie Izzard, for example.
