I get that you think its fun to assume that masculine women are trans. I get why it's funny to you that someone who is a man wants to "become a woman". But you know what's not funny?

Being more likely to be murdered or verbally abused at the least becuse you don't look like other women, or because you're trans.

every single day I am scared to go to public toilets, why? Because I don't look like a feminine woman. I'm one of those 'hilarious' people that you think looks wrong.

So while I haven't reported any posts in this thread, and tbh I won't bother because as a mod elsewhere I know how much of a pain it is to get reported posts for posts that are actually fairly mild, as they go. But I won't let it go on thread. Because my safety, mental health and that of my friends is being undermined and made a laughing stock of here.

Yeah but they weren't joking about any of that.

Being any kind of anything doesn't make you immune to humour. Everybody has problems. What you've basically described is Depression and social anxiety, which isn't exclusive to Trans people.

Also in relation to OP, Bertie Ahern.

Baby and Crumble, you have my utmost sympathies and support. While I tend to dismiss the ultra-trans "give me my insane rights" brigade who are only out for attention, I do have genuine respect for those who are just trying to get on with their own personal journey through life.

Hence why I posted Blair Whites name, in the hope that some may actually stop dismissing long enough to listen.

That being said, this is AH, a well known forum for taking the p*** out of everyone and everything. I would respectfully suggest you should avoid this thread as it is bound by its nature to offend you.

TBH I'm not offended. And I'm not actually trans, but people think I am, or hey maybe they just don't know what I am and that freaks them out.

I'm not offended, but seeing people makes jokes about something that I know is mentally difficult in a much bigger way to my friends who are trans than to me is upsetting, I guess. And as much as this is AH I don't think all the posters here are assholes. I don't see the point in not saying something if I want to say it, you know?

It is "slaggable." Everything is slaggable. No matter what walk of life you're from you're slaggable. People aren't exempt from humour, no matter how much of a dogma there is around the topic. So long as everyone is open to being slagged, nobody is given any special treatment, and thus, everyone is truly equal.
