Help with 2005 Toyota Yaris

    Hi guys,
    I have a 2005 Yaris Terra and the indicator yellow light is lit up on the dash, but the indicators are working ok. Any idea what might be causing that?

    You have to be more specific - which light is it?
    These are the common lights

    Or do you mean the arrows for turning?

    I call Bulb Failure Light.....


    ......but seeing as the OP hasn't come back in over 24 hours it could be the "Grim Reaper" Light ;).

    I thought that. But the OP did say a yellow light....Jap Vitz ??? EML ???

    Sorry guys, I was otherwise; occupied haven't been on Boards. for a few days. Didn't mean to ignore your posts.
    It was the malfunction indicator light on the dash panel that was on - the square symbol - the good news is that I took it to a Toyota dealer and they fixed it. The indicators were not affected by the light being on, which was the reason for my original post.

    It's the Engine Management Light. It 'indicates' that there is a problem with your Engine (or it's associated components).
    It does not have any bearing on your Indicators, despite it's name.....:).
    Glad you got sorted anyway.
