I've been out of work since christmas and I got a job 2 weeks ago but it didn't work out. My question is I don't want to put that place on my CV but wil I have to tell them as they will find out when they reister me or can I just pretend I haven't worked since christmas?

If you are going to be paid / taxed based on the job you just did, it means they will have to issue you with a P45.

You will need to give this P45 to any new employer.

Usually, the person who handles salaries has nothing to do with your manager, so if you gave your P45 directly to the salaries person, your manager would not know.

That means in theory you could leave the job off your CV, and you would probably get away with it.

But of course it could get messy if you get caught.

Or don't give them a P45, and instead call Revenue when you start a new job and ask them to register you for tax with your new employer.

    Can all be done online.
