Cancelling Prepaypower

My landlord has prepaypower which i want to change to another provider. How do i cancel it or does my landlord have to do it? On the prepaypower contract/terms and conditions they say the account holder has to give one months notice of termination by email or letter. Can i just contact them myself for a deactivation code?…
