Honda Civic 1.4dsi petrol - coolant

Hi, I need to top up the coolant in my 2006 1.4 Dsi Civic Petrol. Manual says to use only Honda coolant (of course it would!). I have Prestone coolant which says it can be used to top up any car. Will this suffice?

How much topping up do you need to do, if it’s only a small but, water would do.

Its just hovering on the "MIN" level so I presume it's around half a litre to bring it up to max. Surely the Prestone would be better than water?

Pure water is better than mixing coolants as you probably won't replace it all soon with the correct stuff.
You can get distilled water in many shops.
