Do you find it funny or not?

I think it's desperate, scraping the arse of the barrel for entertainment and definitely not funny.

Its hardcore satire by Irish TV standards. It could be worse.

It's grand but not good enough to sustain whole match coverage a la today

Just saw 2 Americans looking at it, they looked at each other as if to say, this Ireland? Total ****.

Great impressions, the material is very hit 'n' miss.

Jeeze, I thought it was grand, maybe a shade flat/lacking energy. But overall grand and a good change from the norm. I'd rather have it than the usual. Makes a nice change etc. etc.

today was some of the best. Contradictory Dunphy, Martin O'Neill spot on.

Brightened up a 3rd place play off

It has its moments, but it's gone a bit stale. I wouldn't get rid of it though - what would people prefer instead, more ad breaks?

Though they usually are good when there's some real world craziness for them to riff on - the stuff from Saipan was satire gold - and when it's a calm enough tournament, like this one was, with no major pundit fights or some daft controversy they can struggle to fill the slots.

Yet they probably think the horseshíte that is Saturday Night Life is comedy gold

Just watched the 3rd place playoff, the Peter Collins impression is brilliant, his mannerisms and voice captured perfectly.

Don't think they'll ever top this

I find it very 'hit and miss', but some of the impressions are excellent and I like the fact that they have zero budget and don't put any real effort into looking like the people they're impersonating.

Yeah those Americans, if only they could produce such comedy as DelBoy falling through a bar and getting up like nothing has happened. Such comedy. Or have something as hilarious as an old priest shouting the same 3 lines over and over again. Hilarious

    It's f*cking terrible.

They've been flogging the same dead horse for near 10 years at this stage.

Biggest problem is most of the people they've been parodying have become parodies themselves, Dunphy for example.

Nailed it! Funny to a handfull, usually family and acquaintances of the parodies...

I'll agree Father Ted and Only Fools and Horses has nothing on The Big Bang Theory. Now that's proper comedy.

Like most Irish comedy IMO it's shyte. Painfully unfunny but that's what happens when you recycle the same "gag" over and over. Should have been killed off years ago.

Same applies to stuff like naked camera, PJ Gallagher, anything with Pat Shortt.

It's an insult to the three lads to be mentioned in the same sentence as pj and pat short.

So not funny its time to pull the plug on it once and for all.

I can only imagine what tripe you regard as worthy high brow comedy.

No the tripe would be the examples I mentioned. But then I'm not into one-note paddywackery style nonsense to be fair. I should add Mrs Brown's Boys to that list.

It's always funny how offended their fans get though at the suggestion that maybe they're not all they're cracked up to be
