Old paint disposal

    Is there any place around Drogheda that will accept old paint. Recycling no longer accepts it.

    You could try this place, http://www.vandwrecycling.ie/drogheda/ doesn't mention paint so you could call them to see if they'll take it. There may be a small fee.

    They will only take empty cans afaik

    This is something I face a fair bit, too.

    What I'd suggest doing is offering it to a voluntary group. If you've much of it, or if it's a popular colour, they'd be happy of it.

    Similarly, if there's not lots of it, just use it up painting the same thing you already painted, or if it's a mad, one-off colour, keep it for touch-ups down the line.

    Or just bide your time until you next need a skip. Seal it up, wrap it in a plastic bag, sellotape it all up and hide it amidst the general chaos that is a skip.
