Verifying mobile phone number for PPS card

I registered to mygovid website and to verify my basic account, I need to verify my mobile phone number, which system asks me to visit local PPS office.

My question is, I need an appointment for that, and the appointment options I see on the website is : PPS number and Public Services card. I have PPS number and card already so I'm kinda stuck about which option to pick.

I don't want to get refused there as I chose incorrect appointment type, so I was wondering if anyone went to Public Services office to verify their mobile phone number.

    Thanks!

Of those two options, the Public Services Card is definitely the one to choose.
You might be able to get them to validate your phone for you if you contact them online and ask them to call you back.   https://www.mygovid.ie/en-IE/Enquiry
They very kindly did that for me a couple of years ago, as I was living a long way from any DSP office!
