    Hi Guys,

I recently bought a Smart Watch that can take a SIM card, my question is can I have 2 SIM cards with the same number on them?

    Hi rochey84 ,

    Thanks for contacting us here.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have the same number on two sim cards. Once registered, the number is then permanently associated with that sim.

My recommendation would be to insert a pay as you go sim in the watch and top up as you need.

    Thanks

    Thomas

    Hi
    What about eSIM ?

"An eSIM is a non-removable, virtual version of the traditional SIM card. It stores your international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) and its associated authentication key." from: https://www.cultofmac.com/507807/how-does-the-apple-watch-esim-work/

It is on apple watch 3 and samsung gear S2 and I know Three and maybe Vodafone support it.
