VRT and motor tax for crew cab

    Hi,
I was thinking of buying a crew cab with a hardtop in the UK and bringing it back to Ireland.

I was looking on the VRT calculator and although the emissions for crew cabs are high, the VRT seems fairly low.

Do I need to be registered for VAT or as a company to bring in a crew cab at low VRT rate as a commercial? I don't have my own business, I'm not registered for VAT and I'm a PAYE worker.
Can I pay commercial motor tax rate for crew cab?
    Thanks
