Hi, I have passed my diver test yesterday and applied for my licence today and I changed the licence type in my insurance as well. So now, do I need to use N sign even before getting the physical licence? Is their any in using L sign now with "Full Irish Licence" type in insurance?

You need to still display your L plates until you have your full licence in your hand.

Yep. OP, you are not fully licensed until you receive your license. L plates and accompanied driver are required until you receive your new license.
