Building a concrete base for a treehouse ontop of a 4ft hight treestump

Dont know if this should be in the DIY or construction section but here goes.
We felled a tree last year which has resulted in a 4ft high stump in the fence.  The diameter of the stump is about 4.5ft across, and has about 1.5 ft of rot in the middle.  Have thought about just getting it dug out but then thought would it be possible to build on top of it.  The stump has sprouted branches already so is by no means a dead stump.
So enter the idea of a treehouse for the kids.  I'm thinking of a 6ft x 7ft concrete base about 6" thick cast in situ around top of the stump.  Of course plenty of 10mm bars and mesh rebar.  Revar also would be run down side of trunk and bolted to base of stump to give the pad stability in windy conditions and not topple over.  The base would extend no more than 2ft over the stump on any side. Plan also on supporting posts at the ends.  So question .... would concrete affect a growing stump as in make it rot quicker? I can't see this having any trouble supporting the concrete base and house.  Any other thoughts for consideration be appreciated before I start pouring concrete ... and a lot of it.  Have pretty much dismissed the notion of building a timber base on it as if I cant get a stable, solid base out of concrete

You’ve dismissed timber? But you want to build with concrete on top of a tree stump??

You may regret coming to the construction section! :pac:

In theory, planning permission is required if it's over 1.0m over general ground level!!!

    Just saying....

This rotting stump held up a 100ft 40tonne + beech tree only 9 mths ago so my concern is not can it support a little bit of concrete but rather would concrete cause dry rot to set in and require it be supported on all 4 corners with the stump being just cosmetic.

Depends on the size of tree house? Surely there is a less intrusive way of supporting this structure? Can you get 4 or more even points around the trunk and just stick build it, could use the stump for some parts of it.
