Does the trailer hub need greasing?

I have this old single axle trailer and I'm not sure if the hubs are sealed or does it need greasing from time to time.
How can one tell? Try to take the cap off?

The cap in the middle should pop off with a screw driver. Should be a nut and some bearings behind which will need grease.
