rodneyr1981 you are 1st on the list. I have no where near enough bike work done and next few weeks are a no go as well for me so have an entry going. Let me know if still interested. Cheers

Thanks for that however raced a half last weekend so just going to focus on training leading into Barca. Meant to remove myself from list.

I don't know. I waited over 12 hours before saying I'd take it. I think that's a very reasonable amount of time to let others reply and assumed no one wanted it. I can't find anything in the rules saying who should be entitled to buy your entry, but I'd have no qualms tabout taking it.

I'll let the mods decide who it should go to and I'll respect that decision.

Can we also all agree that there is 12 hours to revert back going forward which reverts to 6hrs in the week before transfers are closed?

Look it, I don't want to be a bollix about this and it doesn't matter who'll represent us better, but I genuinely waited the full day to see what would happen with El Director's offer. I knew you and one other had been in the queue ahead of me, but with no replies, I thought neither of you were interested anymore.

I don't think it should be up to us to decide how the buying and selling of race entries is conducted. It would be nice if there was some clear guidelines on the matter. I hope the mods are looking into it, but you certainly don't get 12 hours to complete the purschse when buying an entry in the first place from Cork Tri.

Yeah mods should confirm what's what but something like the Cart man suggested makes sense, as long as everyone's aware of it.

Ability..or lack of it... shouldn't come into it.

Personally I think that zico should get the slot given that he waited the full day.

Makes sense, no sign of jellofish since the original request went in.

Just to be aware that the race organisers only permit transfers via the entry website until this Sunday 12 August.

i've been avoiding this thread on purpose as i have an entry, don't have the training done, and didn't want the temptation of giving it away.

as transfers are only allowed until Sunday, giving someone 12 hours to respond is too long at this stage.

so for this race only lets make it a 6 hour window, after that it can move down the line. don't want to end up with people looking and someone else with an entry they can't transfer

the other mods and i will figure out some more general guidance for future use, but over the years we have never needed it before...

That is more then fair. I have no idea who is in the line at this stage but i get email notification on any update on the thread so thumbs up from me
