Well ask yourself this, did they ask him to play or did he ask them to play?

They were the customer, not him. The customer walked away without the product they wanted.

So you think the tour is a ‘customer’ of its players now? Jesus wept.

When its an event that the top guys are only playing because they are being paid, then yes.

These events pay the top golfers to play so that their own customers will bother to turn up and buy a ticket.

Surely this isn't news to anyone?

anyway.... lets move off the Tiger thing.... hopefully he can rest up for a while and come back good.
this course and weather was never going to suit a guyt in his health.

Dare we say it buy shane is doing something special today... i was worried about his tee off time, but hes defintely making hay while he has the weather...... even if he goes evens from here on it it will be a great round

In reality this is true, to attract the top players, and let's face it, tiger is the best player of all time, or in the top two if you disagree, you have to pay appearance money and it generates more ticket sales and tv revenue and tv viewing figures, sponsorship ect (if the top players play), it's business your faux outrage is surprising i would have thought this was common knowledge

That rain seems to have eased off a little now...but I guess he has half a round to go still so who knows.

Fair play to Tiger for battling until the end, he was wooden yesterday which is a pity as he was swinging much more freely today.

Meanwhile Rory needs to shoot the best score of the day to make the cut it would seem.

    Duval starts with a bogey.

Think he might struggle from there.

Lowry is feeding off the roars of the crowd, the smile on his face when he hears the crowd roar shows that.

It doesn't really matter what he does, he is an Open champion. That can never be taken away from him.

He’s a very likeable lad. He’s the type of fella people would want to win.

Shane could shoot a really low score today, he could also just fall apart, he has both on his locker.
