What are the like the 520/530m ? One for lifting bales and pallets on farm rather than loader on 2wd tractor?
Are they Perkins 4.236? Also shuttle or what's in them?

Usually perkins in the jcbs. Biggest concern for me would be the condition of the transmission. If the engine revs don't drop when the transmission is put under load you could be looking at an €8-10k repair bill. The biggest cause of problems is drivers changing from forward to reverse and vice versa without braking and giving the transmission a chance to reset.

Transmission overhaul would be about 2000 euro, and that's with Gormley JCB.
If it has a weight monitor, it's be nice if it was working!
Also nice if the door was in one piece.
Wear/slop in the pivots of the boom would be a major concern.
