3 older planes, looks like 2 Chipmunks flanking a yellow winged bi-plane, in close formation currently doodling around Maynooth. Had spotted them 10 minutes ago heading west but have just gone back over house heading towards Weston.

Is there anything on there currently. I know there's a beer festival later. Also there was on older looking red helicopter about 5 minutes ahead of them.

Yep, I'd say that Boeing was the biplane alright.

Must have been some sort of meet in Weston, 30 minutes later about 6 light aircraft in a very loosely described formation (more like haphazard row) also headed over.

Edit: Ahh, actually looking at their website they mention Newcastle Special Day of Flying, on today
