No mortgage house build deeds

    If i build a house with no loan at ehat point do i need to get deeds?
    First trasnfer i.e. sale or death
    If death and it passes to my wife is a deed needed?

    You should already have a title deed to prove that you own the land.

    Then you should have a planning permission to prove that you were allowed to build the house on that land.

    You'll need both when it comes to transferring the ownership of the property, be that through a sale or an inheritance.
