BA student considering law conversion

Long story short, I’m a first year BA a student from the North hoping to do UCD’s Masters in Common Law course down the line. My course is three years, maybe four if I’m lucky with studying abroad, and I’d like to work for a bit after my undergrad before pursuing law.

Obviously I don’t want to be grey by the time I can call myself a lawyer. I suppose my main question is about law firms offering training contracts/traineeships to graduates just finished their law degree and also covering their exam fees like FE-1s etc. Something like what William Fry offer, paid position as a trainee whilst also covering time/money needed for exams to qualify as a solicitor. I don’t like the idea of studying law for two years only to then get through the qualifying stage with no support/income.

Help and advice would be greatly appreciated!
