Doing this event next Sunday. Anyone know how the finish works of the bike? Do you cycle over finish line or rack bike in transition and run somewhere?
Also has anyone done this race before and can offer advice?

Can't speak for this one but at blessington last weekend they racked bike after cycle and ran about 50m to the finish line

Last year they cycled to the finish line, I assume it'll be the same this year. Advice, all I would say is keep some energy for the climb up the bypass hill. It's not overly steep put goes on for a while, after that it's mainly flat. Route is a bit tricky near the Clashmore cross so be careful out there.

    Enjoy.
