    Hi all,

    At the end of May, I applied for a retail assistant position at Penneys. I had my interview 2 weeks ago and was told that it takes about 2 weeks to process my application after the interview stage. I have not yet heard from them, and am beginning to fear the worst... should I be worried?

    Phone the HR dept, say you are following up on your application. It shows you are keen.

    I've actually been considering ringing them... but just worried that they might think I am a nuisance.... know what I mean 😆

    A polite follow-up call is fine. Hi. This is Mark. I was hoping for an update on the role I interviewed for two weeks ago.

    But don't bombard them. You might be one candidate on a list of thousands.
