5 years on do people still wait for the '2' plate or has the novelty worn off?

Do people still buy cars from July to December you mean? They do.

Waiting for the family with 4 cars down the road to decide if they replace one of the i10s or one of the Golfs this time. One goes every new plate and yes, they accelerated when they changed to twice yearly!

That doesnt happen in every local authority. Id say single digits out of the 31 Councils have official cars

Finally a picture after 3 whole pages of "I saw this , I saw that"!! :D

Yep that appears the be the full fat version. They are not only denoted by the 5.0 on the sides but also the "GT" badge on the bootlid

Ecoboost (and previous V6 engines) have the Pony instead.

Wonder if it's privately owned or a showroom demo?

Focus Estate. Had a Style. This time around I got a Titanium. I don't pay the vat or vrt. I'm loving all the Bells & Whistles. Climate Control is great in this weather as the car is to drive my daughter around & she is not great in this heat. Ford ate great to deal with.

You have to admire anyone who buys a brand new V8 in this country, and a Mustang at that - one of my all time favourite cars.

Must be one of the very few cars which is still available with a naturally aspirated engine as well.

    I hope it's a manual!
