    Hi everybody,
I have a 2014 BMW 220D. I bought it last year. I'm thinking of holding on to it for a few more years.
Should I expect 20% depreciation each year or does it change as it gets older?
    Thanks

Generally depreciation is mostly the first few years and then evens out*

*lots of caveats for brand, gadgets, engine type etc etc

How much are are 2010 120d coupes making now?
Should be around the same as what yours should be worth in 4 years.

    Probably.

Yep, as a general guidelines take 20% of value in that year.

Treat the above feet loosely though. The are loads things that change the rate, such as perceived reliability, rarity, brand image etc.

Thanks folks, appreciate the input. There's a lot of imports on the market which will probably drive the price for me down a bit more.

Standard depreciation is 50% every three years, until you get to around 10 years.
Wear and condition is also a factor, and has more of a bearing on values at the older end of the spectrum than the plate.
