Wouldn't be worth more than the sale price to be honest

    Snapdragon 821 is a 2016 chip

Was retailing for 799 in Nov. Seems like a decent price for the XL version.

Out of stock everywhere, and can't be ordered?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 849 ✭✭✭Cr8or

I have a code as I said above. I'm sure a few will pop back up in stock tomorrow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,766 ✭✭✭RossieMan

I highly doubt it. I'd say it's the last of their stock gone now.

Cheaper to order from Argos UK and deliver via parcel motel. Approx 330 euro.

Just says Currently out of stock for delivery on the .co.uk site.

Can pay for extra insurance on items over a hundred I think. I've gotten laptops, tablets and phones delivered via PM over the years and never had any issues.

I've always received a picture with my package on their offices in NI when it was received by them, the day before the delivery notice locally.

.........your post is completely unfounded so. You can't blame PM for delivery of they haven't received it from whoever you bought it from. Your beef is with them.

    It says 579 now

Problem is I don't know if they received it,,,, anyway won't lose sleep over it,, still wouldn't risk buying an item worth hundreds and bank on PM to deliver, that's me baby

PM have always notified me within 24 hours that they've received something, have probably run 100 orders through them and never had anything untoward happen (besides delays around xmas which have been better in recent years). The vendor definitely to blame here.

Also, have had PM ship me a Mavic drone and a surface laptop in the past, plus other high value goods and would happily do so again.

Yea no issues with delivery via PM. They can't deliver you something they haven't received. Delivery with PM is exactly the same as getting it delivered with DHL or DPD, but your driver probably isn't a massive prick.

They send you an email when the package is received by them with a picture. It's also visible if you log into your parcel motel account.

Like many others I've had a lot of phones, tablets etc delivered via parcel motel without issue.

It does sound like you don't know what the vendor has done and are assuming it's parcel motels fault. Contact them and they'll check - there's nothing in it for them to be shady tbh.

May I ask why you're advising people not to use PM for expensive items if you've no experience of it then? It's just more incorrect advice that gets thrown around.

Used PM for purchasing an iphone from appleuk. Saved over €260 on cost of phone. Paid an extra €3 or €4 on PM insurance to cover expensive items so was covered if any problems. Actually got phone call from apple to confirm my order and delivery to parcel motel. Would not hesitate to use them again for expensive purchases

I have newry reservation but no easy way to collect it from there. any suggestions for a courier service (or reliable boardsie) that can collect and bring to dublin? argos wont deliver it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,766 ✭✭✭RossieMan

Why reserve it then? You've only taken it from another person. I don't understand the need to reserve it somewhere you've no chance of collecting. It's why I never post Argos bargains here. People are shocking.

No point it being insured if they haven't even received it.
