Social welfare entitlement?

Hi all.. I’m new to this so apologies if this topic has already been covered.
I’m looking for a bit of help/advice about my social welfare entitlements.

I was on sick leave from my job for about a year (depression and anxiety) when I fell pregnant. Once I had the baby I received my maternity benefit for 6 months, then returned to illness benefit for another few months until earlier this year when I had reached the maximum 2 year limit. I then applied for invalidity benefit but I am yet to receive a verdict on this (applied in February).

Since then I have had no payments at all besides child benefit every month. I am now 3 months pregnant and am desperate to get some sort of payment sorted as myself and my partner are struggling. He does work full time with good pay, but in severe debt.

I might add that in between both pregnancies I suffered a miscarriage last July and also I have Hyperemesis which is causing further depression and leaves me incapable of working or doing much else besides looking after my son.

I am just wondering if anyone here may be able to help me by informing me if there’s any other payment/scheme I am entitled to, or where I should go from here?

    Many many thanks for reading.

"falling pregnant" twice is very unlucky but you should get taken care of so you won't have to work again

Hi OP please ignore any family planning advice that you didn’t ask for.
You say your partner has good pay so he may not get Working Family Payment (what is his take home pay?).
If you have any further medical evidence or more up to date evidence to send in re your IP then you should send it now.
Have you been to MABS about your debt?

I'd check and see if you are due a tax refund.

Also, can you and your partner be jointly assessed for tax purposes?

Invalidity benefit is probably only option
