11 reg Renault Fluence, over the last month sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't,

When the Mrs first mentioned that it wasn't working, assumed it just needed to be regassed after 7 years of use, now I'm thinking it may be an electrical issue like a dodgy connection?

She could sit into now & it won't work, no blower or anything, tomorrow morning it could be perfect, any ideas?

    Thanks

I have a similar issue which I believe is the A.C. Pressure switch which is on one of the cooling lines. If this is failing you get the symptoms you describe.

I'm ordering one and will update if it resolved my is due.

No. Sorry. It's a VW Golf, but I believe the part is common across several marques.

Sorry have you said ur blower or nothing works some times.
If this is the case it’s ur blower motor resister common across all then Renault Range. If u have no blower etc just ask and il give u all the details u need to get it sorted

The resistor pack did cross my mind but when that went on a Megane we had, from memory the blower worked in two out of the four blower settings.....the car was driven to Dublin this morning, nothing at all working, she's driving it now and it's working 'normally' although it's making a bit of a noise she hasn't heard before, it worked normal for a while on Sunday, it's just intermittently not working...when it's not working if I put my hand up to the vent it does feel cool

Correct it does only work on one speed. But the newer renaults it’s actually the wiring going to the resistor. If u find the wiring where it plugs into the resistor and fan you will find the earth wire and one r two more are burnt and in crap. The way to fix it is buy a new loom for it in Renault and solder it in. Not to bad of a job if you have done them before. Think the loom is about 70e. Are u local do u need it done quick. If ur stuck give me a shout and il gladly help u out.
