Have VF Just Booted Non-SIRO Subscribers?

Woke up this morning to no broadband and since its the 1st of the month I'm putting 2+2 together and thinking Vodafone just booted us.

Got a letter in May telling us to join SIRO or lose Broadband. I duly signed up only for an installer never to turn up. They rang me some weeks later to enquire if I wanted to join SIRO. I explained that I already had and was waiting for the installer. They offered to sign me up again but as I was in full Communion prep for one of the kids I asked that they ring me the following week.

That was the last I heard from VF.

Anyone else lose VF BB today?

Their DNS servers are down. Change your DNS to Google and it'll work fine
    8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

I’m completely thick, could you explain how I do that?

You can do it on your router, I can't help as I use a different device.

Basically you login to your router and possibly under advanced settings look for a section called DNS, untick to use peer DNS and then add the 2 google DNS IPs 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Working fine for us, several users here and home servers running lots of home automation stuff have no issues
