    Is anybody else watching this?
So far to me it doesn't seem to be much.

    Not many details yet but,

"Adrian Dunbar will star in new (six part) Irish psychological drama Blood, which was announced on Thursday as part of TV3’s new Autumn schedule ... Enniskillen-born Dunbar, who currently plays Superintendent Ted Hastings in the BBC One crime thriller Line of Duty, leads the cast of Blood, which was written by Sophie Petzal (Red Rock, The Last Kingdom, Riviera) and produced by Jonathan Fisher (Midsomer Murders, Lewis)."

(Virgin Media One will be the new name for TV3 from August 30th)

This looks like a good series. Watched 10 mins of the first episode, then 5 mins adverts. Watched another 10 mins, then 5 more mins adverts. Turned it off and read a book....,no adverts

Thats one of the reasons that I record what I will watch on Sky and then fast forward through the ads later! An hour long drama is only about 40 mins without the ads!

I'm just glad it started this week cause I was getting right fed up of seeing the bloody ad /trailer for it every ad break. Went on forever.

Really enjoying this series. Carolina Main who plays Cat is brilliant. Poor Barry he was a strange character though. I felt Cat used him in the end.

I'm enjoying it. Can't tell whether the Dad is gaslighting Cat or not. Either way he's very suspicious.

Yes. Delighted to hear there’s a couple of others out there enjoying this too. I think it’s pretty good compared to some of the recent Irish dramas.

The dad’s almost too suspicious at this stage, pinky. I’m hoping for a good twist

I kinda feel let down by that ending twist

I thought it was a good series, but not sure what to make of the ending. It seemed a bit rushed.

I felt sorry for Barry. He was clearly vulnerable and depressed. Cat digs up this horrible dirt on his late father, then leaves him alone with a gun. And she was surprised with the outcome?!

I thought it was an enjoyable watch apart from most of the last episode, wasn't mad on the ending.

Such a pity that he treated Cat so badly.
It started a chain of events esp fir Barry that was devastating.

The pacing seemed a bit unbalanced, the ending came from nowhere making it seem like most of the scenes were of no consequence.

Some excellent acting, I thought the Mother/Wife was very good in her brief airtime.

watched the first episode on Channel 5, nice opening. Slow and with ads even slower. But I can see it picking up.

    Renewed.

Series two is set to open with Jim Hogan (Dunbar), stripped of his medical license, returning from abroad to find his family in conflict. Tensions are rife and trouble is brewing, leading to a horrendous tragedy, the cause and origins of which will be pieced together as the series progresses.
