Looking at a placement for first year in a school in Rathmines
    But living in Sandymount
Just a bit worried about the commute
Does anyone have experience of how practical it is to use the bus from Sandymount to Rathmines every morning?

sorry if this is in wrong thread

I think you might get more replies in the Dublin City forum. I will move it for you.

Driving wouldn't be great but there's the 18 bus which goes between the two.

18 isn't great. It can be very slow at rush hour and it's fairly infrequent.

If you can cycle, I'd do that instead.

As per your other thread, cycling wouldn’t take more than 15 minutes. That’s not even at a fast pace.
