    A flower bed on a green in our estate/flowers dying can we water them please - in this dry spell

    Use a watering can / jug and water after the sun had gone down. Just don't go out with a hose as it's very wasteful, as it watering during the day when it will just all evaporate. Water the roots and not the leaves.

    Put a basin in your sink and collect all the excess rinsing water that would otherwise go down the gully. It adds up and is useful for plant watering.
