So I’m just 17 and my parents held me back in 5th year and I want to go on my old years LC holiday. Now I think I’m just going to sneak away to it but when I get home if he grounds me I was just thinking is he allowed ?
Is this not obstructing my nation and European human right of freedom of moment/passage. And if he comes of with some bull**** like well then live on the street isn’t that technically neglection.

Thank you guys for the advice but what I really want to know is grounding someone technically obstruction of my rights

I think one of the reasons they held you back is very apparent in this post....you are very immature

Are you paying full rent and your share of the bills? If so do what you want, if not then you need a clip round the ear.

So you haven't reached the age of majority or living independently by your own means? You are still a minor and your parents are responsible for you.

No I do not have a job. I had one last summer but I have money saved up and I am willing to pay for the entire holiday aswell. And I think they are being very unfair cause I am 17 and I have never had an allowance.

Your a minor and a very immature one for your age. Having parents doesnt have to be a political war.

You ask if your dad has the right to ground you but also claim if he throws you out its neglect. You cant have it both ways. Either you are a responsible adult or your not. Whinging about lack of pocket money is not what an adult does.
