I just had a question if anyone knows much appreciated. I started a Fetac level 5 course back in August last year and coming to the end this week. I was previously under my partner's social welfare claim and on starting the course I had to separate my claim as the ETB had to pay for me doing the course. During this time my partner applied for disability in December and was awarded it in March with back pay for the €35 a month for the electric units. I posted back on here near the start of the course because their was a guy on disability for ADHD where he was getting that payment plus his partner was getting the full adult dole. My question is because the status of my partner changed during the year would I be entitled to go for the extra money either from December or March for the full dole that I was entitled to? This could be important as it's either 15-30 weeks at an extra 66 which is a lot of money. If their is any synical people who think I am being a bum, my results to date have been 82%, 86%, 89%, 90%, 93% and 94% resulting in 6 distinctions and awaiting 2 more results hoping for another 1-2 distinctions. The extra money could come in handy over the summer.
