Looking for a cheap estate, coming from an 00 a6 1.9 tdi. There are a few newer a4 and a6 estates, 03 to 07, but the tdi has the engine killing oil pump issue and the petrol seems to consume large amounts of oil. Is this generation best avoided or are the stories over blown? Any way to distinguish between good and bad?
