Is it ok to park there now? Rank sign says 20.00 to 08.00 and it's now 11 am. Dublin city centre
    Thanks

Is it the 24hr clock that has you or what?

No! Jist don't want a clamp. I was in a rush and no parking elsewhere.
Presumably rank is only at night. Just any website I googled said NO PARKING EVER in taxi ranks.

Some taxi ranks are designated by hours, so it sounds OK. Hard to say without seeing the sign though

Some of those taxi ranks are loading bays outside of the specified hours.
Best to read the signs and road markings.

Thanks everyone. When I got back all was fine and there were other cars replacing the ones who had been parked there earlier; so looks like it is ok. It was only taxi rank in the evenings and there was no loading bay sign. This was on South Gt George's St

Its fine, as long as you don't get a fine

Note the loading bay on one side and the bus lane on the other.

The time it took for you to write that post you could have parked the car somewhere where you didn't have to ask could you park or maybe just be able to read christ sake I'm starting a thread is it ok to park on a zebra crossing when a class of special needs children are crossing or maybe a disabled space you tell me op

I would *never* park in a disabled space nor at a crossing that " a class of special needs kids " are using to cross, or otherwise. The two are not comparable. That would be illegal. This is not (potentially)
    Chill out Phil.
Parking in a loading bay outside of hours is allowed so I was checking if it was ok to park at a rank out of hours as approx another 10 cars had done; I'm not going to stay just park coz other people have- all 10 could have ended up clamped if wrong.
When I typed the message I was already at the venue; had I received info to the contrary of above I would have left the venue and moved the car.
