    I'm sure the RE is supposed to be +1.75 also. There is no such thing as +1.85. The link you have provided is for shortsighted and you are long sighted.

    The strength you need for reading is +2.25 i.e. your distance prescription plus your add for near.

    Thanks, I don't fully understand your post

    How did you calculate the 2.25 for reading?

    Also when you say I'm longsighted ,I have distance and reading glasses?

    Does my prescription not have the information needed to order both?

    Your distance prescription is RE +1.75 LE +1.75. Then to calculate your reading prescription, you add the "add" onto your distance strength. I mistyped earlier, your reading power is +3.25

    What number do I need for distance glasses for driving and TV

    They are all - numbers online,like -2 to -6

    I'm still confused about the distance glasses?

    I'm Long sighted but need glasses for driving and TV ,is +1.75 the number for these?

    Yes the glasses you need for driving and TV is +1.75.

    You've been very helpful,I may not need the numbers but I like to know them anyway

    Re Le were both 1.75 I misread the prescription
