    Lads I need to buy a new tractor. main functions will be handling bales. topping , cutting rushes and silage with disc mower. want to spend less than 20k.
    any ideas?? no preference for make or colour

    He/she would need at least 100hp tractor for the work they are doing would they not?

    Nah....depends on how big mower is.....but we've an old international and cuts the heaviest and thickest rushes (and our own silage this year) with an 6 disc mower no problem with what's rated at 69hp on tractordata and travel the wettest bogs



    Unless he/she is going doing slurry work imo no need for that big or even 4wd for that matter

    That one is gone, know the fella who bought it. Handy for yard work. About 70 Hp and grand for feeding silage with a grab

    NH tl 90 or 100 would be what you should look for, ideally with a loader and power shuttle
