I'm due in family law court in a few weeks however I'm near broke. This hasn't stopped my ex from taking me there looking for more maintenance. My question is is it possible to represent myself or do I have to pay a solicitor?

Suggest you apply for Legal Aid. Case may have to be adjourned for a decision on that
