What do ppl recommend or have experience of, for supplements/diets that boost immunity?

I have a hectic year ahead of me and will be heavily penalised if I'm off sick.

Any decent multivitamin souls cover you off in terms of an immunity supple men. Honestly, the best thing you can do to keep your immunity up is focus on getting 7-9 hours quality sleep a night. Poor sleep will tank your immune system.

Eat healthy as you can. Sleep. Exercise.
As for suppplents, I take a high dose of fish oil capsules, magnesium and an ever higher dose of vitamin D. Since I started this I’ve never as much as got a sniffle.

Sleep will have a big effect on immunity, as well as managing stressors and diet. Try to ensure you are eating good, wholesome, real food over stuff that has a lot of ingredients. Try to avoid binge drinking and try to get into a good, regular , sleep cycle.

My BMI is bang on the money I’m nearly sure it’s the reason my immune system is so robust.

I would also go with sleep. However my own N=1 study is that I've had less illnesses since I've focussed on eating properly for recovery from training, and since I've made a concious effort to eat more fruit and veg. My sleep patterns haven't really changed/ are still pretty poor, but the dietary aspect seems to have helped. I do take a multivitamin, despite my understanding being there's limited support for them making a difference!

Diet and intake or micronutrients is only piece of the puzzle.

Lack of sleep and stress are your enemies as is being sedentary. So address those and make sure your diet is even halfway decent
