Probate waiting time

Just wondering how long people are waiting for probate to come through? It will be 12 months in July we are waiting. There was no will just bank accounts to be divided? It is being done through a solicitor.

When you call the probate office, you can get an automated readout of the dates they are working on for solicitor applications. Late last year it was around 6 months from application.

Has the solicitor submitted the application?

I submitted the application for my mam's estate in November 2017 and probate was compelted in last month.

My Uncle died in December 2017, there was no will, between this that and the other everything has finally gone through this month, two and a half years later, i actually read an article a while back that it could take up to sixteen months to two years for probate, but then again it could depend on the situation

Dublin is 16-18 weeks at the moment but it varies wildly on which probate office its submitted to and how busy they are
