We are retired now. Every time we go for dental or optical check ups we are asked if we are covered by PRSI and we always say no because we are retired. We do not have medical cards. We pay what we are charged. Someone told me that the PRSI which we paid all our lives should still stand to us now and we should be able to…

PRSI entitlements for eligibility covered here.

Also if 70+ might be entitled to medical cards or GP cards though I believe means tested.
