Guys I have a question. Are hamsters allowed to be up in the passengers area? Do they need any papers?

Mod note: This thread has been split away from a 7 year old thread for the sake of relevance. Although the rules don't apply to other pet species, the passport requirements (for cats, dogs and ferrets) have changed since the original thread was posted.
    Thanks.

TBH I have been on many a ferry and never seen a hamster on one, maybe its best off to ring the ferry company? I know dogs aren't allowed up on passenger decks.
