    Is this one any good

It does the job and gives you the voltage and current readings you need. The one I have is still working after about 10 years. Physically it's flimsy. Mine split at the seams long ago and is taped up, a pita when changing the battery
would it be as good as the Gallagher, its is cheaper

Not in my opinion but the gallagher one seems to be about twice the price

Agreed, couldn't imagine going out to try and diagnose a fault without it. Lives in the jacket pocket full time for the summer months

Always in the glove box of the jeep here. Same as farmer. Saves a lot of time finding faults.

It brings out the laziness in me, I don’t even have to get out of the Jeep or off the quad to check the power in fences anymore.

Just checked and I paid 80 euro for the same model. Its handy that you dont need to stick a wire in the ground to work.

I have the gallagher since late last year and when used in conjunction with a gsm switch it is so handy. Times it would take hours/days to find a fault.
If you have a pigtail with a dead short and cant see or hear it you would never notice it.

I have that model- paid €56 for it a few years back. Great job. Saves so much time.
