    Hi,
From past 2-3 weeks I am getting a wistle like noice from beneath my 2007 Corolla at low speed mostly in 2nd gear. Previously it was noticable only when the window glass were down but now its noticable eveb with full window up. I am not able to identify the exact location of noice but having an impression that its coming frombone of the left hand side tires though not sure. Though I was not much concerned initially, now I am a bit tensed as I have my driver test scheduled in 3 weeks. If some one have an idea, please let me know

    Possibly your brakes squealing ?

After a spin see if any of the wheels are hot, the hot one will be the issue.

If it is, you may need new pads or discs or there can be an issue with the caliper not returning and needs to be fixed/ replaced.

The disc itself can be very hot so be careful if touching that.

Do you have any idea, how much it would cost to replace the brake pad including labor

Drive the car forward - turn the steering wheel left and right and see if the noise changes, apply the brakes slightly and see if the noise changes.

Sorry for the late reply. I was out of the town for a while. I took my car to a service station and the mechanic replaced the front brake but I ak getting the same sound even after. So I took the car again to him and after running for a while he said its just a bearing issue and no need to consider and it may need big money to get it replaced. I am a bit confused

Yeah.. on turning the steering, the sound is getting louder... And on applying the brake, tje sound disappear

Update: Yesterday I bought the car to another mechanic and he is telling that the sound is because of faulty brake caliper and gave an appointment for Monday. I am confused
