DIRT BOI Mortgage saver refund.

    Hi,

    I recently bought a second hand home in June 2018.

    I am a first time buyer and had a mortgage saver account with bank of ireland. On drawing down my mortgage BOI payed out a 2000 euro bonus on my savings as per the mortgage saver promotion.

    The 2000 euro was subject to DIRT at 37 percent which left me with 1260 euro.

    Can I claim this DIRT back?

    I am finding conflicting information online.
