Visonic powermax complete not sending SMS alerts

    Hi all,
    Seen a previous thread was resolved but no idea how.
    I have report to private set to all -op/cl
    Unit will take sms instruction Arm/disarm
    Unit will respond to status request

    Unit will not send alerts like alarm or power outage

    Any ideas?

    Hopefully you have credit on sim? Try and power full system msins and battery and power back up.

    Hi DC,
    Yep, its one of those unlimited credit sim's. It polls the CS 5x daily so I assume they are getting it else they would be calling. I can send a request and it'll respond. Just doesn't want to send alerts by itself
    Power cycled it, no good
    Any other ideas?

    Have you tried enabling all & see if it sends the open/close?
    Have you checked is there is a delay set for alarm events? Normally 20-30 seconds.

    I assume you have eng code? If so tryn sent manuael test. If doesnt work reprogam again the gsm.

    Just to close this one off. The installer sim is not a regular Irish sim card.
    I updated the telephone numbers to 0035386xyzxyz and that worked fine.
